Hampden Agencies Limited is the largest adviser to private investors at Lloyd’s and its results have consistently been above the Lloyd’s average.

Hampden advises private and corporate investors at Lloyd’s in the UK, Continental Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific. In 2006 Hampden advises 1,377 Members of Lloyd’s and Namecos (limited companies), who provide the working capital to back £1.78bn of underwriting on a selection of Lloyd’s syndicates.

Hampden’s teams include:

• Hampden Underwriting Research, producing syndicate recommendations, assessing market trends and providing analytical services.
• Hampden Tax Consultants Limited, advising on personal tax issues and giving specialist Lloyd’s advice.
